THE ROLE OF THE COUNTY TREASURER
The Treasurer serves the people of the county by keeping a true and accurate account of all monies collected and expended by the county.
The Treasurer collects all property taxes (ad valorem) as prescribed by law as well as motor vehicle sales tax and registration fees. The Treasurer also issues all payments for the county.
Additionally, the Treasurer oversees investing of unencumbered funds in accordance with the county investment policy.
ABOUT ANNE
Anne Kropatch Lawler was born in Newcastle and raised in Powell. She is a life-long resident of Park County having made her home in the Powell, Cody, and Meeteetse areas.
Anne is an avid golfer and enjoys many outdoor activities like fishing and hiking.
When she is not working, Anne enjoys spending time with family and friends.
